Summer Scarf

Started a beautiful summer scarf today. This pattern makes for a quick knit. Well, I think it might be a day's work for a person without a mobile 8-month-old. For me, it may take 2 weeks! But worth it all the same. It's Alchemy Bamboo in color Rainforest. I'm excited to see it finished.

Beanie Bear

Finished a hat this morning. It's a sweet little beanie, Kathmandu Aran tweed. I am looking forward to starting the next one! (I think my daughter's teddy bears will serve as great models for demonstration photos.)

Excited about "Cocoa Kiss"

I'm starting a sweater class in September, and I'm excited about the pattern I just bought. It's called Mondo Cable Cardi, and I am loving the yarn! It think I may have to buy it online. I'll call around town and see if it's available locally first though. I also bought the yarn I've been eye-ing for my new project - a cable hat. It's odd to be knitting hats and scarves in August in Texas. Let's just say I'm looking forward to winter.
